I really like it First of all, let me tell you when I first purchased this I didn't like it because I am darker (MAC NC40/42 as reference# and when I tried it on #number 2# it looked to light. Now I have a collection of bb creams #Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, Loreal, garnier, maybelline, cover girl, hydroxitone, pur, too faced, dior, chanel, amore pacific, you name it) and the texture and finish of this and only this one resembles the Asian ones. BB creams now have gone the way of tinted moisturizers, so I think if I wanted a tinted moisturizer, then I am going to buy a tinted moisturizer, but if I want a bb cream I am looking for the Asian quality the only problem is they are too light for me. Anyways when I got this I didn't like it, but what I do is I use my Laura mercier mineral powder foundation in bronze to set it with, and voila! flawless complexion. I can even put the bb cream in my eye area and it doesn't settle into my fine lines and lightens my eyelid, this is the first one that I've been able to do this with. I am so pleased with this product, I just wish it wasn't as pricey. 5/16/13

Great all in one product but pricey I have been curious about the beauty balm craze and wanted to give it a try so I went to the Trish counter to check it out. I brought home a sample and really liked the texture of the product. It feels almost whipped and it's not too heavy. It goes on quite easily with a sponge or makeup brush. I really like the fact that it has an spf of 35 and it controls oil. If your skin is dry you will probably still need a moisturizer underneath the product. Some days I use the beauty balm alone and when I want more coverage I use foundation as well and I don't feel a big build up. As for the brightening, I have not seen that yet . A little goes a long way so hopefully the hefty price tag is worth it. 4/3/13

Goes on uneven, heavy feeling I have tried other BB creams and have loved them. So I was excited to try the Trish McEvoy Beauty Balm. Unfortunately it is not like any other BB cream. It goes on like a sticky foundation and it is really difficult to even out, if at all, and feels heavy on your face. I would suggest, for best results (personally), to use a brush rather than a sponge or your hand to apply it. But honestly if you haven't already bought this product DON'T. The $8 L'Oreal is a much better BB cream. Personally I am going to continue to still with all the amazing Lancome products. 3/21/13

Best BB cream! I was hesitant on buying BB cream due to a mild acne prone skin. But when I used this product, it had great coverage and did not cause any acne breakouts. It corrected the dark spots from my acne. It's consistency is light and feels like you're not wearing any at all. I will repurchase in the future. 1/30/13
