Vince Camuto 'Joella' Sandal (Online Exclusive)
The stones on this shoe looked as if they were not only plastic, but that they were hotglued on the shoe. Did not care for it.
PS additional comment
Wish this website would have add on feature to additionally comment - I had to create whole new name just to add this PS. After some research on V C shoes, I found the real Earl Grey Suede shoe, however, it is a darker grey suede with black and crystal baubles instead of the lighter crystal baubles shown on the fabric grey shoe here. So there is indeed an Earl Grey suede Joella. It is just not the one shown here. I do like this one with lighter grey color and the clear crystals better than the darker one. Again, just wish this was in light color grey suede. The looping strap at the front is very flattering to one's foot.
Earl Grey is not Suede
I love this shoe, but in reading the description I misunderstood that the uppers were to be suede for all 3 colors. I received my Earl Grey shoes hoping for a nice contrast of grey suede texture to the sole and heel, but the upper on the shoe is a semi-shiny fabric material. It is NOT suede. As I look at the Earl Grey online, I can barely see that it is not suede. (Guess I need my reading glasses).
I am disappointed that it is not Earl Grey suede as I think it would have made a fabulous looking shoe without too much flashy silvery color. The stones bling enough. I have not yet decided if I will keep as I was really wanting suede with the shiny stone contrast.
Too flashy for me
Once I received the shoe, I knew it was not right for a black-tie Christmas party. I think the shoe is not age-appropriate for me (54). The sparkles attached to the heel made me feel like wearing a stripper shoe. No offense to strippers, but these were not the right shoe for a long, white, Halston dress. Comfortable? Yes. True to size? Yes. It is all a matter of taste. These just weren't right for me.
