Yves Saint Laurent 'Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils' Longwear Cream Eyeliner
Really love this eyeliner, it stays on all day and it has a quality look and feel to it. As long as the right brush for application is used it is easy and quick to apply. I find it much easier than liquid eyeliner. The texture really is silky and it has never flaked or creased on me. Do not have to worry if I forget to put on shadow base. Excellent product. Thank you ESL.
Doesn't smudge, doesn't flake, doesn't crease, doesn't produce racoon eyes! I LOVE it!
Love the Blue Black!
I was debating whether to purchase YSL eyeliner or Givenchy blue liquid eyeliner. When I tried both, I found that Givenchy had very little quantity for the $$$ and the formula was watery, so I settled for YSL Blue Black. While the blue is not as bright as Givenchy, it is a nice blue black and is not as harsh as black.
I wear YSL liquid black eyeliner and have been very happy with it. I have tried MAC and Laura Mercier gel liners, and both smudge a lot. LM smudges especially in the innermost corners of my lids. When I purchased YSL and wore it, I stayed out half the day, came back, napped with it on, then woke up and applied another layer, then at night went to sleep in it because I was too tired to remove. The next morning it was still there, it had smudged but very little below the lower lid. I was surprised by the staying power.
My lids are very oily and despite using primer gel liners smudge a bit. This one stayed put. My left lid is oilier so the liner went on lighter, and it did smear a bit below my eyebrow so I have to wait for it to dry a bit. But the smearing was much less than other gel liners I tried, and very very faint.
Overall I highly recommend YSL liners, both liquid and gel. They are the best liners in the market - expensive, but they do last a very long time. I had half a mind to return it because I wasn't sure it would last, but now I will keep it and use it everyday! I LOVE the blue color!
lasting, easy to apply
I got Sea Black. The color enhances my brown Asian eyes. It's a nice change from basic black and brown. The cream liner is easy to apply with a flat brush. I find it easier to work with than gel liners. It's not as hard to remove as I expected. The pot will last a very, very long time since only a tiny amount is needed for each application. I hope the pot doesn't dry out over time. If and when I run out, I would repurchase this. It's worth the price.
